Due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and government guidance, we have had to make some changes to the Engineering programme in order to mitigate against risks to health and to give you the best possible academic experience in the circumstances. We will continue to monitor and respond to the changing public health situation. The key changes are:

• All lectures will be delivered online and will be recorded
• We will endeavour to run as many hands-on practicals as we usually do, but where it is pertinent to do so, we will run some labs virtually
• For incoming IA students, we will not run the Lego activity this year
• All incoming IA students will be given a personal electronics test and measurement kit
• The IEP (Integrated electrical project) will be reconfigured in order that it can be carried out using the above equipment without needing to use the Departmental teaching labs
