The Department of Engineering has dedicated Audio Visual Support within the IT Services Division that manage and maintain the audio visual infrastructure.

Significant modifications have been made to our teaching/lecturing spaces to enable teaching to go ahead in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Our lecture theatres can now be used either for live-streaming of content, or as recording studios.  Details on how to use the new systems can be found here.

Radio microphones are available for use in Lecture Theatres 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and in the DPO. Lecturers are encouraged to use them, particularly if asked to do so by the audience.

The stage in LT0 carries many interdependent AV systems.  If anyone wishes to rearrange the stage, e.g. for an event, or a lecture demonstration, they should contact AV support well in advance, who will then help to rearrange the stage, and ensure that the room is properly restored for following lectures.

AV support will also be happy to advise on the rearrangement of the AV facilities in any other lecture room.

AV equipment details for each room and usage guides can be found here.
