The Colleges require all new or inexperienced supervisors to attend a training course.  These sessions are run by the Cambridge Centre for Teaching and Learning (CCTL) and details of forthcoming courses can be found at:

Cambridge Centre for Teaching and Learning - course timetable

This years' undergraduate supervision courses will run a little differently from previous years and those wishing to supervise for Engineering should opt for the problem-sheet based subject supervision sessions.

If you will be supervising IIA Engineering please email the Teaching Office once you have completed the training giving details of the Part IIA course/module you will be supervising (if known) so we can add you to the Department's register of approved supervisors who are permitted to supervise IIA material.

A web-based 'Supervisor Marketplace' is in place for supervisors to request work and Directors of Studies and module leaders to offer supervisions. You can find it at http://www.eng.cam.ac.uk/teaching/apps/supervisormarket/. Please use it!
